Deborah H Gruenfeld is Professor of Organizational Behavior at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Prior to joining Stanford’s faculty in 2000, she was on the faculty at Northwestern University’s J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Cornell University in 1983 and her PhD in psychology from the University of Illinois in 1993. Before starting her academic career, she worked as a journalist and public relations consultant.
